The waterfall in Kozhikode is a wonderful spot to unwind and observe nature at its most intimate yet devastating best. It is an eight level waterfall with SulluGalu, Vattakkuzhi, Nirannapara, Olichuchaattom, Shwasakkuzhi and Neelakkayathadaakam as its companions. The water falls is not bigger but is totally filled with bigger rocks and that rocks may contain big holes to downs and it may not be visible to the outside.

This is not a common type of fall. The water is coming through the spaces between the big rocks and that’s why it got the name “Arippara '' . So those who are visiting the spot should follow the instructions from security guards. Those who know the swimming can swim through the down portion of the falls and for others a secured area is also available there. The water is just like an Ice filled water and is fresh. There are tons of places around to simply relax and let the movement of the water ease away the stress in your limbs. The pebbly bottom and the cool waters play host to mesmerizing scenery.
